First off, Happy New Year. Secondly, think about what you want this year to be – then make it happen.
Destiny hit its final mark for me as I made time to play the new raid, Crota’s End. It was not only the end of Crota but the end of my interest in the game. I’ll mostly like continue to play casually but I just don’t want to bother with the game any more. What I had more interest in was completing Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. This game is not perfect either, however, it was more enjoyable to go through and play. There is more to say about it and I’ll cover it in another post.
With it being bowl season, I watched an absurd amount of football. If it were possible to go into coma from too much football, I may have done it. For whatever reason, I did watch one movie and it was Galaxy Quest. Why? Well…why not? It may not be great movie but it is entertaining nonetheless.
A reminder comes to us about our lives and others with the passing of Stuart Scott. Whether you liked him or not doesn’t matter but consider what he and others represent. Scott’s battle with cancer lasted for several years and he fought to the very end. Those that have had cancer affect their lives know too well what a tole it can take, not only on the person fighting it but also for everyone around them. The fight is not won or lost by any one person alone, we all fight together.
Keep his family and friends in your thoughts, think about those around you as well and those that you have lost. Know that when a light goes out, it never truly disappears but rather it carries on, into the darkness to help us find our way.
