The presents are opened and diner is gone. Next stop New Year’s.
Gaming took a bit of a back seat during the last week but I did manage to get some play time in. Temple of Osiris was the game I played the most. I still haven’t finished but I estimate I’m about halfway through the main game. Thus far it is much like its predecessor in many aspects. It does seem to be built completely upon the notion of having four players and that makes some parts of it seem odd or out of place. I also started playing The Lego Movie Videogame but only played the very first part of it.
Since gaming just wasn’t a top priority, I decided to entertain myself when I could and catch up on some movies and shows. The first season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. proved to be interesting but I guess I have to wait until more than just the first season is on Netflix to see any more of it. Just because I thought it was so damn entertaining and funny, I watched Guardians of the Galaxy again. It occurs to me that this may very well be the best of the Marvel Universe movies to this point since it has all the action of The Avengers but has more humor and heart. The biggest disappoint, however, was watching Transformers: Age of Extinction. My expectations were low going in but I was still underwhelmed by it. The only good thing that came from it was that I better understand why the accompanying video game, Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark, was so bad.
On to the new year and let us all not forget the Golden Rule. There has been too much going on in the world of people not treating others right.
